TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these terms prior to booking, they are integral to any requests for cancellations and refunds. The conditions are binding if you book a service with us.
The purchase of any services offered by Island Breeze Liveaboard constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and Island Breeze Liveaboard and represents your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking. You can contact us with any questions or hesitations prior to booking.
DIVE INSURANCE
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct and appropriate level of dive insurance for the activities you will undertake while onboard with Island Breeze Liveaboard. Customers with invalid or inappropriate levels of Dive Insurance will not be able to participate in our guided dives and refunds will not be available in any circumstances. Any equipment hired from Island Breeze Liveaboard and unused can be returned without forfeiting any moneys paid. Dive companions or snorkel trip customers do not require dive insurance to onboard with us.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Island Breeze Liveaboard highly recommends that all customers purchase travel insurance that includes cancellation protection. This includes dive companions and day trip or charter customers.
MARINE PARK FEES
If there is a change in Marine Park Fees between time of booking and time of departure, Island Breeze Liveaboards reserves the right to change the price quoted accordingly, whether it is increased or decreased, and the customer to assume the change in cost.
FUEL SURCHARGES
If Island Breeze Liveaboard incurs fuel charge increases above 20% of prices at booking, we reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge of between $30 to $70 USD depending on percentage increase and length of trip.
CHANGE of ITINERARY
Island Breeze Liveaboard reserves the right to change sailing itinerary for any reason whatsoever at any time prior to commencement of the trip, should it be necessary. No refunds will be given for changes to the itinerary.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
For Double Cabins our beds are joined, please be aware this is for bookings for partners and friends travelling together. We will not place individual bookings in the same cabin to share, they will require a single occupancy cabin.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Group bookings are priced per group, and not liable to decrease depending on a change in participants or inability to assume a minimum number of participants.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS
Initial deposit: 25% of booking cost per person or per group is required seven days after creating booking, before the reservation reaches its expiration date.
If you book 60 days or less before departure, full payment must be made at that time. All deposits are non-refundable seven days after expiration date. A credit note will be issued for any trips cancelled hereafter. Any payment of a deposit constitutes full acceptance of the Terms & Conditions stated herein. Island Breeze Liveaboard shall have no obligation and provide no confirmation of reservation until deposits are received.
Final payment: Payment in full is required 60 days prior to commencement of travel.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Island Breeze Liveaboard accepts payment by wire transfer or for onboard payments such as equipment hire, payments can be made by cash or card.
CANCELLATIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS
All cancellations are specific to the terms and conditions on your invoice for activities or services ordered.
Island Breeze Liveaboard has cancellation penalties on Liveaboard Trips are as follows:
– 25% of booking will be charged if cancelled after reservation is secured with payment
– 100% of booking will be charged if cancelled in the following number of days prior to embarkation date: 60 days
FORCE MAJEURE
Island Breeze Liveaboard will not be responsible for any delay or failure in and performance due, without limitation, to adverse weather, fire, flood, hurricanes, earthquakes, typhoons, Acts of God, war, warlike conditions, embargoes, civil unrest, pandemics, quarantine, governmental restriction, labour disturbances, supply change disturbances, transportation or loading facilities, wrecks, explosion, any unforeseen change in circumstances, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control.
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
We require appropriate ability to participate in activities, and insurance to cover activities undertaken, whether this is health, travel, or dive insurance for specific activities. Customers acknowledge that he/she is physically healthy and in good condition to engage in the activities we offer. Our activities involve risk, potential exposure to injury and possibly death. Customers comprehend and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with engaging in all activities organized by Island Breeze Liveaboard.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In the absence of gross negligence, Island Breeze Liveaboard, its employees and contractors are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, or non-performance occurring in connection with these arrangements.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
The information contained on our website and in our documentation is correct at the time of publishing and to the best of our knowledge. We accept no liability for any inaccuracies contained herein. All information is given in good faith, and customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas, insurance, and travel documents prior to commencement of travel.
On booking any service provided by Island Breeze Liveaboard, the customer accepts and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

For bookings your data will be visible to our booking software management company.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
Data provided for bookings is retained indefinitely.
We do not have registration for our website so no data is retained for non-booking website visitors.
If you leave a comment on our blog, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE TO YOUR DATA
We do not retain any data from this website other than booking details which are only shared between us and any booking agent if you booked through a travel representative. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you after your trip or in case of cancellation. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
